VTB Bank (Armenia)  announces the launch of a new service - Savings Account, which will  bring the owner income up to 9.92% per annum at a rate of 9.5%.As the  press service of the bank reports, the rates on the Cumulative  Account in drams range from 1.5% to 9.5% per annum, depending on the  period and amount."Unlike a term deposit, by opening a savings  account at VTB Bank (Armenia), a client can withdraw funds or  replenish a savings account at a convenient time, an unlimited number  of times, without losing the interest already accrued," the source  noted.

The press service of the bank told ArmInfo that the opening  of the Tigran Mets branch was held in a solemn atmosphere. General  Director, Chairman of the Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia) Ivan  Telegin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the RA Sergey  Kopyrkin, and General Director of SCR Company Sergey Valko, in the  presence of the Bank's guests and customers, cut the ribbon of the  new branch.

As ArmInfo was explained by the Bank's press  service the Glendale Hills CJSC construction company which was  engaged in the construction of residential multi-apartment complexes  in Yerevan and was the borrower of VTB Bank (Armenia), failed to meet  its credit obligations, in 2015 it was declared bankrupt. As a  result, the construction of a number of buildings was suspended, and  a large number of citizens remained waiting for their housing.

For the first time, VTB Bank (Armenia), in cooperation with the Sil Insurance company, launches insurance for prepayment of mortgage loans provided  under the program "Housing for Young Families". As ArmInfo was told  by the Bank's press service the matter concerns insuring financial  risks. In particular, of the 30% prepayment, the client pays 10%, and  the remaining 20% paid by the bank are covered by financial risk  insurance. In this case, the bank frees the borrower from the need to  provide additional collateral in the form of real estate, as it was  before.

VTB Bank (Armenia) summed up the results of the marketing campaign "When You Win", conducted jointly with the international payment system  MasterCard, the Bank's press service told ArmInfo, explaining that  the stimulating campaign is aimed at raising consumer awareness of  the functionality and convenience of non-cash payments, increasing  the volume of non-cash payments on MasterCard cards.
